Hardware Requirements

To ensure a smooth learning experience and to be able to run the projects and simulations in this program, your computer should meet the following hardware specifications.

Minimum Hardware Requirements:​

  • CPU: Intel Core i7 (9th Gen or newer) / AMD Ryzen 7 (3000 series or newer)
  • RAM: 16 GB DDR4
  • Storage: 500 GB NVMe SSD
  • GPU: NVIDIA GeForce RTX 2060 (or equivalent AMD Radeon) with 8GB VRAM
  • Operating System: Ubuntu 20.04 LTS (recommended) or Windows 10/11 with WSL2

For optimal performance, especially when working with more complex simulations and models, we recommend the following hardware configuration:

  • CPU: Intel Core i9 (11th Gen or newer) / AMD Ryzen 9 (5000 series or newer)
  • RAM: 32 GB DDR4
  • Storage: 1 TB NVMe SSD
  • GPU: NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3080 (or equivalent AMD Radeon) with 10GB+ VRAM
  • Operating System: Ubuntu 22.04 LTS
  • Additional: A high-resolution monitor and a stable internet connection are also highly recommended.
